Built-in Payment Processing

With the products out on your ecommerce website, you will start receiving online payments from your customers. Ecommerce payment gateways authorize online transactions between you and your customers. Having multiple payment processing options offer your customers convenience, flexibility, and lowers the odds of shopping cart abandonment.

Shopshastra’s built-in payment processing system is integrated with main Indian payment gateways such as PayU, Paytm, PayPal as well as NEFT and  Cash on Delivery (COD)

Collect payments from your customers through Cash on Delivery

Cash on Delivery
Woocommerce->Checkout

Keeping Indian consumers in the frame, where many of them don’t have means to make online payments, cash on delivery is one of the most used payment modes among Indian online stores. It gives ecommerce businesses a competitive advantage over others, and builds a trust factor among your customers.

BACS ( NEFT)

BACS (in India it is also called NEFT) payment gateway allows you to accept payment using direct bank transfer. This is a cost free means of payment, however it requires you to check if the payment has been received by your bank before further processing the order. Also, NEFT amounts are only credited during business hours, so may lead to a delay in processing orders.

Credit / Debit Cards, Net Banking, UPI & Wallets

Shopshastra provides you multiple options for the above. The main supported gateways are PayU and CCAvenue. Plugins are also available for Paytm, Instamojo, Atom Paynetz and EBS. You need to get an account with these gateways that may take up to 3 weeks. There may be setup fees too for these accounts.

International Payments

While some of the payment gateways above offer to collect from International credit cards, the easiest option for International payments is PayPal. There is no setup fee or application process, however the transaction charge is high.
