Sub-categories are required if you have a broad range of products on your website. Following steps will help you to create Product sub-categories and assign products to them.
- Login to your Admin account then click on Products.
- Click on Categories.
- Enter Name, Slug, Description.
- Select Parent category Accessories.
- Select Sub-categories to show.
- Click on Upload/Add image to add image then click on Add new category.
- The new category can be seen on the right hand side. Please add products to this category to view on website.
- To add products, click on Products on left menu. Click on Edit to add product to your subcategory.
- Select the subcategory to which you want to add this product.
- Click on Update to save changes.
- Other way to add product to your subcategory is using Quick Edit.
- Select the subcategory to which you want to add this product.
- Click on Update.
- Please click on View to see the subcategory on website.
- Check how it will look on the website.
